Neoliberalism and authoritarian media cultures: a Vietnamese perspective

This study asks how the concept of neoliberalism can be adapted to a critical analysis authoritarian political and media cultures that cannot adequately understood through Western-centric narratives dominate literature on neoliberalism. We examine case Vietnam, country where relationship between system is defined primarily by power party-state autocracy. explore extent which useful theoretical category for grasping state, market, civil society actors in especially as it relates system. Supported an Vietnamese news cover healthcare education people with autism, we conclude extrapolating three theoretical-methodological guidelines will researchers examining different countries.
